Hormones That Affect Erectile Dysfunction

Posted under Articles

Erectile dysfunction is something that many men experience, some of them on a regular basis.  Having an occasional bout with impotency is nothing to worry about and can often be traced to something that is rather simple.  If you are having it more than 25% of the time or if you are consistently experiencing erectile dysfunction over a long period of time, you might want to see if there is an underlying cause which is the culprit.  At times, these causes may be rather serious but it may also be something that can be treated naturally, such as a deficiency in your hormone levels.

The first thing that you should look at whenever you are having erectile dysfunction are your DHEA levels.  This is a steroid that is naturally occurring in all humans and it is responsible for a lot of the sexual function that we experience.  If our DHEA levels should happen to drop, erectile dysfunction will generally follow.  In order to build up this steroid within the body, we need to take a natural DHEA supplement.  These are generally available at your local vitamin store or on the Internet at many different websites.  Make sure that you choose one which is all natural as this will give you the most desired benefits.

Another type of hormone which is often responsible for erectile dysfunction is a lack of testosterone in the system.  Testosterone is the male hormone and it is also largely responsible for our sexual health and development.  As we begin to get older, our testosterone levels naturally are depleted and it is necessary for us to build these levels back up in some way or another.  Instead of hormone treatments that may not be healthy, you might want to try lifting weights as this will generally raise the amount of testosterone in the body naturally.  You can also watch your diet and lose weight as these are things that tend to reduce our testosterone as well.

Finally, it may be an excess of estrogen in the system which is the culprit.  There are several different ways for you to reduce your estrogen levels naturally if this is the culprit.  Avoid excesses with alcohol as this may be the problem as well as eating as much organic food as possible.  You should also avoid milk products as these contain estrogen like hormones.

Is Poor Circulation to Blame for Your Impotency

Posted under Articles

Our bodies circulatory system is really an amazing thing.  It is also a very important part of our general health and if our blood is not circulating properly, we are going to have a number of different problems.  These problems may range from tangling that is felt in the feet and hands to an inability for our body to heal properly.  We may also experience a problem with erectile dysfunction which is related to circulatory problems as well.  If that is the case, we want to make sure that we improve our circulation in order to overcome our problem with impotency.

Improving our circulation is not a difficult thing to do and they can have positive health benefits in a number of different areas.  In order to improve our circulation, however, we are going to need to put a little bit of work into it in some way or another.  Here are three different ways that you can improve your circulation and gain your overall health, as well as your sexual health back again.

The easiest way along with being the most effective in improving circulatory problems is aerobic exercise.  You don’t need to worry about running or doing any other type of hard aerobics in order to receive the benefits.  Simply walking on a daily basis or even increasing the amount of movement that you do in your regular day-to-day activities can benefit you greatly in this regard.

Another thing that you can do is to hydrate your body properly.  Our body is made up of a large percentage of water so it is necessary for us to maintain this balance on a regular basis.  Drinking half of your body weight every day in ounces of water is an excellent way for you to hydrate your body and to gain your overall health as a result.  Your circulation will improve and many times, problems with erectile dysfunction will disappear naturally.

Something else that you might want to try in order to improve your situation has more to do with not doing something than with doing something.  Quitting smoking, cutting back on the amount of alcohol that you drink, avoiding sugary foods and losing weight are all excellent ways for you to improve your circulatory system and your body’s ability to deliver blood where it is needed the most.

Your Diet Is Creating Erectile Dysfunction Problems

Posted under Articles

How many times have we heard that we need to diet if we want to be healthy?  I’m not necessarily talking about dieting in order to lose weight, although it certainly is a good idea to do so if we are carrying additional weight around.  What I’m talking about is eating a healthy diet on a regular basis and making sure that we are getting the proper nutrients into our body.  This can help us to overcome a number of different problems which we may be experiencing.  For the purpose of this article, however, were going to focus on the problem of impotency in men.  Although this is a common problem, it is rarely ever discussed and healthy alternatives to overcoming the problem are often pushed to the background.

In actuality, however, your diet may be causing your erectile dysfunction in the first place.  Very few of us tend to eat the proper foods and this can cause a number of different problems in the body.  At times, these problems can show up in the form of different maladies and the symptoms that we may experience can include a problem with maintaining an erection.  That is why it is important for you to eat a healthy diet whenever you are having a problem in this area of your life.  Not only will it help you to overcome a problem with ED, it will also help you to feel better in general, something that all of us can use.

The real key to overcoming erectile dysfunction by improving our diet has to do more with adding food into our diet, not taking it away.  Depriving yourself of the things that you really enjoy is usually a temporary measure at best.  In order for you to improve your overall diet, it is important for you to add things into your diet, such as raw fruits and vegetables.  It is not necessary for you to be a vegan in many cases in order to see improvements.  Simply add at least one raw fruit or vegetable before every meal and some of the less healthy choices that you make will be pushed out of the picture.

It may take a little while for you to notice an improvement in this area but if you are persistent in the way that you eat, you will notice an improvement.

Exercise – the Key to Living without Erectile Dysfunction

Posted under Articles

Many of us that are experiencing erectile dysfunction are not necessarily experiencing it because we have a serious problem.  Of course, it always helps to talk to a health professional whenever you first experience an ongoing problem with ED, simply because it could be an indication that something else is going wrong in the body.  More than likely, however, it is going to be a problem that you are experiencing as a result of an imbalance in your body of some sort or another.  In order for you to gain your balance back, one of the best things that you can do is to get some exercise on a regular basis.

The first type of exercise that you can do in order to gain your sexual health back is aerobic exercise.  Aerobic exercise does not necessarily mean that you need to sweat it out, doing some kind of Jazzercise or running for miles at a time.  If you are just starting out, walking is a perfect way for you to get some aerobic exercise and it may actually be more beneficial to your sexual health than harder forms of aerobic exercise.  Walking will not only help to build up your body and to make you limber, it will also build up your circulatory system and take oxygen to areas of the body that may be lacking.  Many people who are experiencing erectile dysfunction find that aerobic exercise is able to help them quite quickly in this area.

Anaerobic exercise is weightlifting or doing other types of strengthening exercises.  This is also an important part of overcoming erectile dysfunction because it builds up an important part of your body that you may not be thinking about.  The male hormone, testosterone, is often the culprit whenever it comes to erectile dysfunction.  A lack of this hormone can cause a number of different problems, ED being one of them.  By building up our lean muscle mass, we are also building up our testosterone levels which can have a positive affect on our sexual health.

Don’t overlook the possibility of doing a combination of these two types of exercises in order to get the maximum benefits.  If being out of balance is at the root of your erectile dysfunction, do everything in your power to gain that balance back.  By spending as little as a half hour per day doing this, you can be successful.

Improve Your Circulation and Have Better Sex

Posted under Articles

One of the more interesting things about the human body is the process of the blood circulating through it.  Whenever the blood is circulating properly, it is able to carry oxygen to areas of the body that are often overlooked whenever circulation is poor.  By increasing our capacity to circulate this blood, we are increasing our general health as a result.  It may also have an effect on our sexual health as well and if we are restricted in our circulation, we can have problems in this area.  These may be mild but it may also result in erectile dysfunction and our inability to perform sexually.

There are several different ways for you to improve your circulation naturally.  One of the best ways is for you to make sure that you are as healthy and balanced as possible.  If you are overweight, try to lose the weight at a healthy rate of one or 2 pounds every week.  You should also make sure that you are eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables, along with getting some exercise at least four or five days every week.  These things will not only help you to feel better, they will actually make you better by improving your circulation.

The type of exercise that you too can often have a large impact on your circulation as well.  Improving your lung capacity by doing aerobic exercise may have a great impact on your circulatory system.  It is not necessary for you to do long-term aerobics in order to achieve this goal.  By doing high-intensity interval training, you will easily improve your lung capacity and will benefit as a result.

There may also be times whenever your circulation becomes sluggish because your blood is thick.  This is not uncommon but it is rarely ever diagnosed as being a problem.  If you feel that you may have a difficulty with this and if you have unexplained aches and pains, particularly behind your knees, thick blood may be the cause.  An easy way for you to tell if you have this problem or not is to eat a couple of slices of raw red beets every day.  Chew them until they are totally masticated and you should notice a difference within just a day or two.

Don’t overlook your circulatory system when it comes to your overall general health.  Do everything possible to keep this part of your body healthy and you will not only enjoy good health, you will enjoy good sexual health.
