Dealing with erectile disfunction is no laughing matter, although it has been the subject of quite a few jokes over the years.  Anybody that has dealt with this problem on a temporary or even a longer basis realizes exactly how frustrating it can be.  The fact that almost all men go through it from time to time is really of no consequence whatever it is you that is going through it.  Understanding what is behind the erectile dysfunction, however, is really the only way for you to be able to treat it effectively and permanently.

Avoiding Conflict to Avoid Impotency

Here’s a little secret about erectile dysfunction most people don’t know.  It is very rare for impotency in men to be caused as a result of a psychological problem.  As a matter of fact, in almost every case a problem in this area is going to be caused by an underlying condition which is physical.  At times, these physical conditions can be quite serious as is the case with diabetes or high blood pressure.  Other problems which can cause erectile dysfunction may be self-inflicted such as overconsumption of alcohol or smoking cigarettes.  Of course, there are always exceptions to the rules.
